Sandfields is perhaps most well known for the pre-war ministry of Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones, though he is by no means the only man whose ministry God has blessed here. Neither is the Doctor the only well-known figure to stand in the Sandfields pulpit - Peter Jeffery, the author of many excellent Christian books, has also served the church in recent years. The church is not just about one or two famous men, however. God has answered our prayers by leading us to a man of His choice, namely Jeremy Bailey, and he took up his position in September 2005. About fifty of God's people gather each Sunday to worship God and come under His Word. If you are able, we would love to meet you there, and of course there is a lot more that goes on right throughout the week. Bethlehem is an independent evangelical (Bible-believing) church and is a member of the AECW that is Associating Evangelical Churches of Wales. If you're new to Christianity, or perhaps not sure what it is all about, then we have a page just for you. There are also many articles to help us all understand our faith with more clarity, and understand issues that arise in today's society. In addition, all of the sermons preached at Sandfields in recent years have been recorded, and these sermons are available on cassette. A complete list is available on request. We hope to expand the site in the future, but we certainly don't claim to be the fount of all knowledge!
