Sandfields Pastor

Jeremy Bailey
Bethlehem Evangelical Church, Port Talbot also known as Sandfields or "The Forward".
The church was established in 1897 in what is now the Sunday School room and the Gospel message has been preached there up to the present day.
Whether you're new to South Wales, and looking for a place to worship, or simply interested in the church's rich heritage there is something here for you. Perhaps you have questions about the Christian faith, whatever your reason for visiting today, welcome!
The church is at the steel town of Port Talbot between the town centre and the beach at Aberavon on the corner of Ysguthan Road and Pendarvis Terrace.
From the west leave the M4 motorway at junction 42 and head for Aberavon Beach on the A4241 at Baglan. After a mile, turn left at the traffic lights and the church is on the left after 100 yards next door to an Anglican Church. See map.
If travelling from the east, leave the M4 at junction 40 and head for the railway station then take the second exit at the next roundabout. After two hundred yards turn right and continue for a quarter of a mile and the church is on the right next door to an Anglican Church.
