Bethlehem Evangelical Church, Port Talbot also known as Sandfields or "The Forward".
The church was established in 1897 in what is now the Sunday School room and the Gospel message has been preached there up to the present day.
Whether you're new to South Wales, and looking for a place to worship, or simply interested in the church's rich heritage there is something here for you. Perhaps you have questions about the Christian faith, whatever your reason for visiting today, welcome!
The church is at the steel town of Port Talbot between the town centre and the beach at Aberavon on the corner of Ysguthan Road and Pendarvis Terrace. Leave the M4 motorway at junction 41 from the west or junction 40 from the east and head for Aberavon Beach on the B4286. Turn right prior to McDonalds and the church is on the right in a quarter of a mile next door to an Anglican Church. See map.
